When planning meals on your first trip, be sure to:
- Plan elaborate meals that involve bringing special cooking tools and new foods to try.
- Give each girl a job in preparing the food and try outdoor cooking whenever possible.
- Eat out a lot!
- Carry many kinds of food with you so you're sure to have something everyone likes.
- Keep it simple - Have girls pack their first meal in, and keep the other meals simple. Breakfast can be cereal or bagels and fruit, dinner can be pizza. Stop at a diner on the way home.
