In Case of Fire
- Before leaving the room, feel the door to the hallway. If the door is warm, DO NOT open it. If the door is cool, open it slowly so you can shut it if heavy smoke or flames are visible.
- If there is heavy smoke or flames in the hallway, stay in your room and seal the spaces around the door with wet towels.
- If there is smoke in the hallway, cover your face with a wet towel and stay down low.
- Close all doors behind you to help block the spread of the fire.
- Never use an elevator unless instructed by the fire department.
