Snakes

You may never see a poisonous snake, but all snakes will bite if they feel threatened, and a snake bite is NEVER fun!

Some safety rules to prevent bites:

Snakes like to hide in cool places like woodpiles and under logs, so kick the wood first.
Water snakes like to swim under things like docks, so do not swim under the docks in lakes.
Never put your hands or feet into holes in the ground.
Wear shoes!
