Cold Weather Clothing

Once you decide where you are going and what your general activities will be you will be able to plan what clothing and equipment are needed.

  • CONSIDER THE WEATHER at the site
    • Check weather forecasts at your destination
  • CONSIDER THE ACTIVITY
    • Layering is always best
    • Think comfort when physical activity is involved
  • CONSIDER PORTABILITY AND OPTIONS
    • Find clothing that can multi-task (pants with zip-off legs, long-sleeve T-shirts, etc.)


DRY = WARM
