Are the Girls Ready?

PHYSICAL READINESS

Physical or mental disabilities should not prevent girls from participating in activities. Make sure the girl:

  • Has stamina and does not tire quickly (think of how girls like to stay up late!)
  • Is strong enough to carry her own gear and can pack/unpack/repack without help.
  • Has strength and coordination needed for planned activities, such as sports or hiking.
  • Is capable to perform kaper tasks and help keep facility clean (a Girl Scout always leaves a place better than how she found it).
